S.L. Richardson is the author of the young adult Guardians of Orion fantasy trilogy. As a Texas mama and the spouse of a retired U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, S.L. didn’t start writing until her husband’s retirement and, upon entering her fifties, she decided it was time to chase the dream (not running a marathon, but writing).
She released her first novel, Mark of Orion, in October 2019. Her second book, Light of Orion, released in July 2020. The last book of the trilogy, Hunt for Orion, is due Winter 2021.
When not writing, S.L. can be found cooking dinners for her family and friends, gardening, reading from her ever growing TBR stack, going to Houston Astros baseball games, and walking her German Shepherd (or maybe he walks her). She lives in Texas with her incredible husband and is blessed with four amazing children.
